Using reading to celebrate diversity and combat racism

I am delighted to share the online book launch of My Skin, Your Skin on:

Thursday 7th October 2021

19:00 BST

I will be sharing sections from the book and offering her expertise on how to have meaningful conversations in your classrooms and early years settings. This will be followed by a discussion with panelists Onyinye Iwu ( who was the Illustrator on My Skin, Your Skin)Trish Cooke, Matt Lloyd-Rose and chaired by Liz Pemberton, on the importance of diversity in children’s books and how to use reading to introduce children to different perspectives, helping the next generation grow up to be inclusive, anti-racist adults.
