It Takes a Village: How we can all support children’s reading in their Early Years and beyond!
In June last year, I hosted a very successful webinar titled It Takes a Village: How we can all support children’s reading in their Early Years and beyond!
It brought together a diverse list of speakers, who all spoke passionately on what they do to support children with their reading. We had more than 300 colleagues globally who registered to join and were inspired by the passionate speakers.
In my role as an ambassador for the National Year of Reading, I have decided to upload the video to YouTube permanently, so that everyone can watch and share.
Speakers:
Kiran Satti – Deputy Principal and OCL National Curriculum Lead for Early Reading, Oasis Academy Woodview
Annette Kingsley-Scott – Childminder
Sarah Smith – Stock and Reader Development Manager, London Borough of Brent
Frank Cotrell-Boyce – Author and Children’s Laureate
Jane Evans – Grandmother and coach
Jamel Carly Campbell – Author, educator and dad
Sarah Seaton – Parent
